The Anchorage woman police say led a drug ring will not be released to see her dying father.

Judge Kevin Saxby says he doesn't think he has the authority to grant Melissa knight the three-day pass the Kenai Peninsula. He says Knight can appeal to a higher court.

Knight faces up to 99 years in prison for misconduct involving a controlled substance. She was one of six people arrested as part of a two-year-long investigation.  The group is accused of selling heroin, marijuana and meth as far back as 2015.
