An armed robbery suspect is on the lam in Anchorage. 

Anchorage Police say a black male in his 30s, armed with a gun, entered Smoker's Choice in the 3600 block of Minnesota Drive around 8:10 Wednesday night, pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money. 

APD says the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. 

The suspect is described as standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black mask, jacket and sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan boots.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call APD.

Back in late-June last year, the same store was robbed, then by a suspect described as a white male in his 20s. APD said, at the time, the store clerk fired a shot at the suspect.
