APD wants man for hitting his girlfriend
Anchorage Police are asking for the public's help finding a domestic violence suspect who is wanted on two outstanding warrants.
Police say 56-year-old Scott Strayer hit his girlfriend multiple times in July when they were drinking and got into an argument. They say the woman got away and called for help from a neighbor's house.
Then, in October, police say, Strayer violated a domestic violence restraining order by sending his ex-girlfriend a message through an online game.
Strayer is 6-foot-1 and weighs 206 pounds. If you have information on Strayer's whereabouts, you're asked to call police dispatch at 786-8900 (press "0" to speak with an operator).
