It's his first victory at the CB300, also known as the toughest 300 miles in Alaska. Previously, his best finish was a second-place showing in 2014.

Monday's victory is Petit's second in as many weeks, after he won the Knik 200 last weekend. Dan Kaduce took second and six-time winner Allen Moore was third.
