A Juneau man was stabbed inside his own home Thursday evening, according to police.

Juneau Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Fourth Street in downtown just before 7 p.m. Thursday on reports that 39-year-old Lucas Schneider was refusing to leave the residence of the complainant, a 44-year-old Juneau resident.

The complainant also reported he'd been assaulted by Schneider.

A short time later, a woman called and reported the original complainant had just been stabbed by Schneider.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they say the victim had sustained multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds. He was taken to Barlett Regional Hospital for treatment and was later released.

Early Friday morning, JPD located and arrested Schneider in the downtown area. He's charged with second- and fourth-degree assault. He's being held in the Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail.
