Anchorage is home to professional hockey again-- at least for one week. Members of China's Kunlun Red Star flew into Ted Stevens International Airport Tuesday.

That's the newest team in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. Players will practice at the Subway Sports Centre before they open the second half of the season in Toronto.

"I think the amount of attention we've been getting is-- has been awesome, just being able to share the game globally is going to be very good for the sport," said Kunlun defenseman Melanie Jue.

"Yeah, it'll be good for our team, I'm excited, it's a little bit cold, but, I think we're used to that by now, be good experience for us," added Kunlun forward Rachel Llanes.

Anchorage's Zoe Hickel is part of the team and organized the training camp. The team will host a free exhibition game Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
