APD seeks help locating halfway house escapee
Anchorage Police are asking for the public's help to locate an inmate who left an Anchorage halfway house for work and never returned.
APD spokesperson Renee Oistad said 40-year-old John M. Moore, who was recently convicted of robbery, left the Cordova Center left for work and hasn't been seen since.
Moore is described as a 5-foot-11 male who is 200 pounds with graying brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie.
Anyone with information regarding Moore’s whereabouts is asked to call Police Dispatch at 786-8900 (press “0” to speak with an operator).
