Anchorage Police are asking for the public's help to find a man who they say was taking pictures of a woman inside a dressing room at an east Anchorage clothing store.

APD spokesperson MJ Thim said officers responded to the Burlington Coat Factory inside the Northway Mall on Friday night after a woman claimed a man was taking pictures of her from above the dressing room's partition while she was changing clothes.

"When the female adult exited the stall to confront the suspect, she discovered he was naked from the waist down and was masturbating," Thim said. "The suspect attempted to grab the female’s upper body but he missed."

After the woman yelled for help, Thim said the male grabbed his clothes, exited the dressing room, sexually assaulted the victim and then ran off.

The suspect is described a short male in his 20's, around 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5 with a "very pointy nose". Thim said the victim believes the suspect was wearing makeup because his face was really white.
