Franklin Graham and his wife, Jane, know all too well what it’s like to be awakened in the middle of the night and find out your son has been injured in battle.

Graham, who founded the Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, never forgot what his family and others experienced – how wounded veterans continue to fight long after they leave the battlegrounds.
