A Palmer woman missing since last Wednesday has still not been located.

Palmer Police say a helicopter conducted a search Sunday, but, like previous attempts, the search operation came up empty.

Ken Barkley, deputy chief of emergency services for the Mat-Su Borough, said Saturday there were no plans to redeploy the borough dive team that had been requested by Palmer Police to assist in the search of the Matanuska River Friday afternoon.

Palmer Police Chief Lance Ketterling said Friday that Mallard was last seen on Wednesday near her home. The search-and-rescue operation Friday was focusing on the vicinity north of the Matanuska River Bridge because local hikers found some of Mallard's belongings. Two water rescue boats and three search dogs assisted in the search Friday.

Chief Ketterling says they have no evidence of foul play in Mallard's disappearance.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Palmer Police.
