The National Weather Service says some snow accumulation will cause slippery roads across Anchorage and the Valley this week.

NWS says light snow accumulations will start around late afternoon and early evening commute, which could cause some slippery conditions for drivers. 

"Snow showers developed with a front moving along the Kenai Peninsula and will be starting shortly over Anchorage," NWS wrote in a special weather statement.

Additional snow showers are expected to develop early Tuesday morning and last through Wednesday morning.

  • Indian
  • Eklutna
  • Palmer
  • Wasilla
  • Sutton
  • Chickaloon
