A Juneau woman was arrested after allegedly threatening a McDonald's employee with bear spray and then attempting to punch a child.

Juneau police say around 6:32 p.m. Monday, a McDonald's employee called to report a woman who had pepper sprayed the bathroom and the parking lot. Then attempted to punch a 4-year-old girl.

Police identified the woman as Casey Muir, 31, and said she was holding a can of bear spray when they arrived. Muir was eventually arrested after multiple attempts to get her to put down the bear spray.

JPD says the investigation alleges Muir also threatened to pepper spray a McDonald's employee.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Muir was arrested on two counts of assault and taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Police are still investigating.
