A Juneau man convicted of sexually assaulting a child back in 2007 was found guilty Friday of receipt of child pornography.

Jim Wayne Thornhill, 40, was found guilty of receipt of child pornography and faces up to 40 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

Thornhill was previously convicted of second-degree abuse of a minor back in 2007 for repeatedly sexually abusing a child from the age of 6 to 11.

The FBI began investigating Thornhill after his employer reportedly located a cellphone and handwritten lists with search terms and internet addresses that were associated with child porn. A search warrant was obtained for Thornhill's phone, where investigators say they found at least 100 images of child porn, including pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts, as well as images of a toddler being assaulted by an adult male.

Thornhill's sentencing is set for November 30.
