APD says 16-year-old Anthony Salazar, who's in custody and charged as an adult, and 20-year-old Haitim Mahir Taha were following a Ford Escape and fired upon it from their silver 2007 Monte Carlo in the 400 block of Irwin Street on April 7 around 3:30 in the afternoon.
Leroy had been walking to a friend's house at the time of the shooting and was struck by a stray bullet.
A second person was injured in the shooting and was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg. The second victim was transported to the hospital in the Ford Escape. APD did not identify the second victim.
Now, APD is asking for the public's help in locating Taha, who's described as standing 5-foot-5 and weighing about 180 pounds; he has black hair and brown eyes.
If you have any information on Taha's whereabouts, you're asked to call APD or Crime Stoppers immediately.
