An active weather pattern continues for the start of the work week.

Clouds will be on the increase beginning Sunday night with a 40 percent chance of showers by Monday. An upper-level trough, currently over western Alaska, will be moving into the Southcentral region tomorrow, bringing showers along with it. Behind this trough is a small ridge of high pressure.

Clearing will begin to take place again on Tuesday, making for pleasant fall weather through Wednesday. The Southeast will finally get some well-deserved sun breaks and the rest of the state will see cloudy skies with crisp autumn temperatures.
