The Alaska Flour Company has been operating in Alaska for over 30 years. Nestled in Delta junction, they have been feeding Alaskans and their animals for decades. The company, however, has been making a shift lately toward a grain that is proving to be quite the cash crop.

Originally produced by the Alaska Flour Company for animal feed, barley is proving so valuable to the company that they have been expanding their operation to make full use of barely into a multitude of products.

Moving beyond basic barley flour, they've begun making exciting foods such as barley pancake mix and barley cous-cous.
