Bringing Celtic sounds to Anchorage, Red Cap and the Cyser Boys are made up of members of the Richardson family: brothers Chris, Mike and Ben and their dad, better known as Grandpa Richardson, who has played the fiddle for more than 30 years.

The family affair started when the brothers moved to Alaska in their late teens. Watching their father play caused them to catch the music bug.

The band is scheduled to perform at the New Sagaya on L Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 1. Another show will be played at the Loussac Library June 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the fourth floor.

Friday, Red Cap and the Cyser Boys joined Daybreak for a Mic Check in the Morning.
