Armin Abdihodžic and Adam Kossler are classical guitarists who have both won international awards for their work in music.

Abdihodžic started strumming away at the age of 8 in Bosnia. Years later, he’s played music all over the world and he is teaching guitar at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA).

Visiting from Washington D.C., Kossler, is also no stranger to music. He’s been a top prize-winner in a number of international guitar competitions. While in Alaska, he’ll be performing and teaching at the first ever Guitar Symposium at UAA Sept. 28 through Oct. 2.
