Anchorage police say Allister Ekstrom has been found and returned home safely.

The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 13-year-old boy last seen in the Mountain View neighborhood Thursday evening.


The boy, Allister Ekstrom, left his home Thursday around 5pm following a “verbal altercation with a family member,” police wrote in an online alert.



Ekstrom was seen leaving his Mountain View home on a blue bicycle, wearing gray jeans and a black hoodie.


“Efforts to locate him at known friends and relatives have been unsuccessful, and there is concern for his well-being,” police wrote.


Police describe him as 4 foot 11, about 95 pounds with brown eyes and hair.
