Anchorage police are looking for two missing Anchorage men who do not have necessary medication with them.

Carl Higdon Jr, 59, was last seen around 6 a.m. Tuesday at an assisted living home on the 7900 block of Resurrection Drive in the Scenic Foothills neighborhood.

“There is concern for Carl’s well-being as he has cognitive issues that need to be treated with medication that he does not have with him,” police explained in a statement.

Higdon is 6-feet-2-inches tall and weighs roughly 240 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a blue jacket and black pants.

Peter Ashnok, 75, was last seen at the Brother Francis Shelter Tuesday evening.

“There is concern for Peter’s well-being as he has both mental and physical limitations that require medication which he does not have with him,” police said.

He is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs roughly 145 pounds, according to police, who said it was not clear what he was wearing when he was last seen. Police noted he uses a walker.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact police at 907-786-8900.
