Anchorage police say 16-year-old Tristen Preslar’s family said he has returned home and is safe.
The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who was last seen at Service High School on Friday.
Police spokeswoman Renee Oistad says 16-year-old Tristen Preslar went to school Friday but did not return home afterwards. He has not been seen or heard from by his family since then, according to Oistad.
“There is concern for Tristen’s well-being as his family states this behavior is highly unusual for him,” Oistad wrote in a statement.
Tristen is 6 feet tall and weighs roughly 127 pounds, Oistad said. He has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie with gray sleeves, either Khaki pants or gray sweatpants and gray Nike sneakers.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 907-786-8900.
