People Mover wants feedback on bus system redesign
People Mover is asking for community feedback on the second phase of its Anchorage bus system overhaul.
According to a press release Friday, the implementation phase is the next step in the “completely redesigned” transit system.
The city launched Anchorage Talks Transit earlier this year, asking residents what their priorities were for the bus system. With that information, they’ve developed two new concepts for the bus routes and they’re seeking feedback on how to move forward.
Resident are urged to visit the People Mover website, where they can:
View the two bus system redesign concepts and submit comments on each.
Keep tabs on our schedule of events and open houses.
Download the final Anchorage Talks Transit visioning report.
In the release, the municipality stated the concepts are not final and can change depending on the feedback they receive.
