Vote YES Panel


Jane Angvik has worn many political hats over the years. She’s served in the administrations of two governors, Jay Hammond and Tony Knowles. She is also a former chair of the Anchorage Assembly. Currently, Angvik is a volunteer member of the steering committee for the “Vote Yes” campaign.


Chancy Croft is an attorney and a longtime civic leader. Croft is a former state senate president. He also ran as the Democratic candidate for governor in 1978.


Senator Bill Wielechowski, (D) Alaska, has been active on the “Yes” campaign. He has served six years on the Senate Resources Committee and was co-chair during two of those years.


 


Vote NO Panel


Andrew Halcro currently serves as president of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. He is a former state representative and was a candidate for governor in 2006.


Sen. Lesil McGuire, (R) is currently chair of the Senate Rules Committee and serves on the Senate Resources and Finance Committees. She is also co-chair of the Alaska Arctic Policy Commission.


Kara Moriarty is president and CEO of the Alaska Gas and Oil Association.
