The longest serving Republican in the U.S. House, Alaska Congressman Don Young, is filing for 2018 re-election.

Currently serving his 23rd term, Young’s office said in the Thursday announcement that he filed on Wednesday.=

“I filed out the papers and paid the money,” Young said in video statement posted to YouTube, accompanied by his wife, Anne.

The Division of Elections says no one else has filed against him.
