Last Frontier Honor Flight


Join KTVA’s Joe Vigil and more than 30 Alaska veterans as they travel to Washington, D.C. to visit the nation’s war memorials. The trip is a partnership between the Last Frontier Honor Flight group – the local branch of the nationwide Honor Flight Network – and Alaska Airlines.

The official mission of the Last Frontier Honor Flight Network, as stated on their website:


“Our mission is to honor and thank those veterans – especially our WWII veterans and Alaskan Territorial Guard – by bringing them to Washington DC, for a trip of honor – AT NO COST TO THEM.”
