Landlord indicted for renter’s shooting death
A 63-year-old woman is facing charges after police say she shot her renter. A grand jury indicted Yolanda Castro Tuesday.
Castro faces one count of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 40-year-old Liteh Fogg at a downtown Anchorage apartment in mid-May.
Police say Castro was Fogg’s landlord and the two had a dispute which led to the shooting.
If convicted, Castro faces up to 99 years in prison.
