McGRATH – We know the top five, even the top 10 mushers, will see lots of changes over the next week.

Monday afternoon it was one of the rookies in the back of the pack that got our attention.

Here at the Iditarod it’s easy to find people to root for. How about 34-year-old Lev Shvarts?

He’s all the way at the back of the pack with just a few bucks in his pocket, but he intends to make it all the way to Nome.
