ANCHORAGE – Dallas Seavey, the youngest musher to ever win the Last Great Race, checked into Koyuk within 15 minutes of four-time champion Martin Buser Sunday afternoon.

Buser, currently racing in third place, arrived at the coastal checkpoint at 4:20 p.m. Seavey pulled in at 4:33 p.m. The two teams remained in Koyuk with runner-up Jeff King and leader Aliy Zirkle as of 5 p.m. Zirkle and King arrived within a one-minute margin shortly after 2 p.m.

The checkpoint is 171 miles from Nome.
