ANCHORAGE- The Anchorage Museum is trying to help kids not go stir crazy during winter break.

Saturday families spent the day building indoor snow forts with blocks.

It was part of the museum’s Hands-On Winter Break program.

“You want to keep their minds going while they’re away from school, keep them having fun, and engaged,” said Megan Cecile, Public Program Director at Anchorage Museum.

The price of Hands-On Winter Break is included with museum admission.

The program ends Jan. 3. For more information click here.
