Police are investigating a shooting that took place at a south Anchorage residence around 2 a.m. Monday morning.

The Anchorage Police Department was called to a trailer located at the 4000 block of Lore Road following reports of a shooting, APD spokesperson Renee Oistad wrote in a Monday release.

According to police, five people were inside the trailer prior to the shooting. Two additional people showed up and one of them began arguing with someone already inside. Two men got into an argument and one of them shot the other.

“The shooter, and the person he arrived with, immediately left in a vehicle,” Oistad wrote.

Police believe all involved knew each other and no arrests have been made. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
