Police seek whereabouts of missing Anchorage man
An Anchorage man is still missing a week after he was last seen, his family says.
The Anchorage Police Department issued an alert on Nov. 1 about 25-year-old Li’o Tauiliili’s disappearance. The alert said he was last seen leaving his Anchorage home at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.
“Li’o indicated to his girlfriend that he was riding out to Wasilla with a friend and would be home later that evening,” police said, adding that the friend supposed to give Tauiliili a ride claimed he didn’t give him a ride anywhere. “Li’o has not been seen or heard from since which, according to family, is very unusual. Li’o also did not show up for work the following two days.”
Richelle Lyken, who says she is Tauiliili’s fiance, said in an email that as of Saturday, his family still hadn’t heard from him.
When he left, he was wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve black shirt and black Jordan tennis shoes, police wrote. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 318 pounds.
Anyone with information on Tauiliili’s whereabouts is asked to call Anchorage police at 907-786-8900 and reference case 16-45766.
