UAA cancels warning of subject with knife on campus
Wednesday afternoon, The University of Alaska Anchorage tweeted a warning to students indicating there may be a threat on campus.
UAA tweeted at 2:32 that campus police were searching for a subject with a knife last seen near the area of Rasmusson Hall.
UAA Alert: The area has been searched by UPD and the subject has left the area. Thank you.

About five minutes later, a second tweet was sent from the school’s account indicating that campus police had cleared the area and no subject was found.
