The man killed in a single-vehicle rollover Sunday has been identified, Alaska State Troopers report.


The driver was identified as 36-year-old Christopher Bringhurst, of Fairbanks, according to an online dispatch.


Bringhurst’s next of kin has been notified.

Alaska State Troopers are trying to identify a driver who was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Farmer’s Loop Road Sunday evening.


Troopers responded to a 911 call from the Fairbanks Police Department just before 6:30 p.m. reporting a rollover, according to an online dispatch. The crash closed Farmer’s Loop briefly. Emergency personnel also responded and declared the driver of the vehicle dead at the scene.


“Efforts are ongoing to positively identify the deceased and notify next of kin,” troopers say. “However, there is no positive identification at this time.”
