Sivak finishes second for ECHL MVP Award

ANCHORAGE –

Alaska Aces Peter Sivak continues to impress.

Friday the ECHL announced Sivak finished second in voting for the season’s MVP Award.

Orlando Solar Bears Mickey Lang grabbed the top spot.

Sivak is the league’s second leading scorer and already received the ECHL Sportsmanship Award and first-team honors.

Sivak and the Aces begin their push in the Western Conference ECHL Playoffs Friday against the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:15 p.m.
