Keyes admitted to murdering an East Coast woman the same day Debra Feldman disappeared
ANCHORAGE – Serial killer Israel Keyes may be responsible for the death of a New Jersey woman.
FBI investigators released a statement Wednesday morning saying they believe he may have killed 49-year-old Debra Feldman of Hackensack, N.J.
Keyes confessed to killing 11 people in 10 states.
His named victims include 18-year old Samantha Koenig, who he murdered in Anchorage in March 2012, and Bill and Lorraine Currier of Vermont in 2011.
Keyes killed himself in an Anchorage jail cell in December 2012 before investigators could find out any more information about his victims.
He did, however, tell the FBI he abducted a woman from an East Coast state on April 9, 2009, the same day Debra Feldman disappeared. She was last seen in her home on April 8, 2009.
Keyes admitted to murdering the woman and burying her body in upstate New York near Tupper Lake.
So far no body has been found.
