Recipe Box: Seared black cod with sweet ginger soy sauce

By Sierra Starks Photojournalist: Rick Rysso - 12:05 PM February 14, 2017
ANCHORAGE –

If you want to impress your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, we’ve got the recipe for love in this week’s Recipe Box.

Dave Thorne, aka Delicious Dave, shares his recipe for seared Alaska black cod with a sweet ginger soy sauce. Also on the menu are rice noodles and roasted vegetables.

Sounds a little extravagant, right? Well, Delicious Dave says you’ll be surprised at how easy this dish is to make.

“The funny thing about menus is you can make them sound all ‘fancy dancy’ when really we’re just roasting carrots and beets and making some fish,” he explained.

Plus, nothing says “I love you” quite like a home-cooked meal, he added.

To make it even easier, download the free recipe on your mobile device or print it to throw in your own recipe box!
