Police seek public’s help finding stolen truck

By KTVA CBS 11 News 6:04 PM April 7, 2014
ANCHORAGE –

Police are asking for your help finding a truck stolen last month.

The red 2005 Dodge pick-up truck was stolen during a burglary in Anchorage around March 19. Investigators believe the truck may have moved as far as Fairbanks, Valdez or beyond, said Anchorage Police Department spokeswoman Dani Myren in a statement.

The truck has a sticker on the passenger side bumper that says “NATIVE” and a loud exhaust, Myren said. The license plate number should be “ETN976,” she said, but it could have been removed or replaced after the theft.

If you spot the truck, APD asks you to call their department at 786-8900 or your local law enforcement. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Anchorage Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP or online.
