Police ask for help locating wanted woman

ANCHORAGE –

The Anchorage Police Department is asking for public help finding a wanted woman with four outstanding warrants.

Judith Nelson, 24, has three felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant, according to APD. Police said they believe Nelson was involved in a stolen vehicle and eluding case Aug. 10, and she’s currently on probation on drug and vehicle theft charges.

In a written statement released Friday morning, APD said Nelson is 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is eligible to receive a $1,000 cash reward, police said.

APD said people can leave tips with police dispatch at 907-786-8900 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 907-561-STOP.
