Pick.Click.Give. website working again

By KTVA CBS 11 News 5:17 PM January 24, 2014

The PFD site was overloaded with users and booted people off at the beginning of the month

ANCHORAGE – The Pick.Click.Give. website is back up and running smoothly after some glitches in the server earlier this month.

Now, nonprofits are hoping residents who had problems get back on the site and donate.

The glitches happened at the beginning of the month, when the PFD site was overloaded with users and booted people off.

That means 500 nonprofits missed out on thousands of dollars in contributions. Pick.Click.Give. is hoping people who were unable to donate the first time around log back in and give to their favorite charity.

“We know Alaskans love to support the things they care about through Pick.Click.Give, so we’re hopeful that anyone who had any trouble will still able to Pick.Click.Give when they go back and add a donation through the PFD website,” said Heather Beaty of Pick.Click.Give.

Last year, more than 26,000 Alaskans donated $2.4 million  from their PFDs.
