UNIONS DO NOTHING! said on Thursday, Sep 8 at 2:29 PM

Unions are for the union leaders. They live off the earning of the workers, like blood suckers they are. Its a big criminal organization, look at Hoffa! If you think that they are looking out for the workers, I have some swamp land in Flordia you may like to buy!

it is a tipical union demand. They don't care where the money comes from, even if you are broke. When they first started, they did some good but have got greedy. They demand you give them what they want instead of offon earning anything, or consider others.

As far as the contract with AWWU employees union, perhaps the city should look at the private sector for managing Anchorage Water and Waste Water Utility as government agencies are generally inefficient. As for the Cab industry, perhaps the industry should investgate their drivers background more closely, prior to making a determination of employement.
