White House Tells “Super Committee” to Do Its Job

Twelve-member committee has two days left to resolve debt, budget issues

The White House is urging members of a congressional committee created to cut the deficit to do their job and make the tough choices.

Six Republicans and six Democrats making up the “super committee” have until Wednesday to strike a deal.
