Good news that this expert saw fit to reconsider Anchorage as a tolerant city for gays & lesbians. Most businesses in Anchorage are "tolerant" of gays & lesbians. Those that are need to take a PUBLIC stand of equality for gays & lesbians.

Individuals polled prior to April equal rights initiative did not wish to appear intolerant. In secrecy of voting booth, their votes were to the contrary. Embarassment at being publicy intolerant is a good sign for equality. However, it still remains on the books for the world to see, Anchorage is not a city where equality and tolerance are a reality. Our own mayor's stand on this issue does not bode well for Anchorage's forward economic movement. It is possible for Anchorage businesses to make a move in the right direction on this issue by joining in a movement to show thier support for equality because "It's Good for Business."
