ANCHORAGE - Spenard Representative and former Anchorage Daily News reporter and columnist Mike Doogan is retiring from the legislature this year, having chosen not to run for re-election. In this full interview with CBS 11's Bill McAllister, Doogan reflects on his career.

Mike Doogan was my Representative in Juneau. That is nice to know since I have to admit, being one whom he represented, I never heard him speak, seen him or in reality knew about him. I only knew him as a writer. I must have really miss the boat on this one. I talked to some of my neighbors and they admitted the same
