The Mat-Su Borough Assembly has selected a new borough manager after several months of interviewing prospective candidates.

Borough officials issued a press release Feb. 27 announcing John Moosey will take over as the new manager effective May 16.

Moosey previously served as the county administrator of Chisago County in Minnesota.
