The city is asking the state for $350 million. That money would go toward phase one of the Port of Anchorage expansion project. Mayor Dan Sullivan is submitting the request for the legislative session in January. CBS 11’s Bill McAllister was there Friday when Sullivan presented the city’s wish list to state lawmakers.

City leaders have a variety of projects they’d like to see funded, but the mayor left no doubt what he views as most important. State Reps. Lance Pruitt (R-Anchorage) and Les Gara (D-Anchorage) weigh in.
