I know what you're thinking—those are some weird looking dogs.

These little guys are small, feathery and kind of look like chickens.

“We actually get chickens on a pretty regular basis throughout the year,” said Brooke Taylor of Anchorage Animal Care & Control.

“Maybe six or eight during the whole year…but if somebody is interested in a little different kind of pet, they should always keep us in mind.”

And while these three particular chickens have already been adopted, there are many other unusual types of pets available for adoption at Anchorage Animal Care & Control.
