Every Thursday KTVA CBS 11 heads down to Anchorage Animal Care and Control to meet our Pet of the Week. 

And this week’s featured pet is a bubbly orange tabby named Soda Pop.

And just like that Diet Coke in your fridge, Soda Pop loves hanging out in his little box,
so much so that Morning Show Meteorologist Eric Snitil got to see what all the fun was about.

Soda Pop likes to find a nice spot to cozy into and is hoping to find a special home with you.

”He is a real sweet guy,” said Brooke Taylor of Anchorage Animal Care & Control.

“He's probably a little jealous of you right now. You're in one of his favorite spots, actually,” Brooke told Eric.

Eric could see the appeal.

Soda Pop loves to play peek-a-boo, and when he's cuddling, he's known to give a soft head butt of approval.
