It’s a KTVA tradition, but for me it was my first time ever going to the Anchorage Animal Care and Control Center to meet our Pet of the Week. I had the pleasure of spending the morning with the very mellow, loveable and friendly Miss Daizy.

This little lady is looking for someone to love her and give her tons of attention. Brooke Taylor said Daizy is a very special animal to the center because she has been through some trying times and they would just love to see her in a stable home.

“She came to into us, originally, from a cruelty case about a year ago and got adopted at the time. Unfortunately, the family that had her had their situation change and wasn't able to keep her so brought her back to us. We'd really like to see her find a permanent home now after being in a lot of hard stuff in her life,” said Brooke.

Plus, you will never meet a more loveable little kitty. Daizy is only $62 to adopt, which includes the cost of her vaccinations and microchip.
