On Dec. 24, a girl told Anchorage detectives she had been in a sexual relationship with her West High School choir music teacher during 2009 and early 2010.

During the investigation, detectives discovered that Christopher More, 29, had had multiple sexual encounters with both the victim and another one of his choir students.

More was arrested on Jan. 2 and has been charged with multiple counts of first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

More has taught at Williwaw Elementary School, Romig Middle School and West High School in the Anchorage School District and previously taught part-time in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District.

Anchorage police say he was also active in a local church.

More has no history of criminal charges and faces an arraignment on Monday after 2:30 p.m.; his bail is set at $100,000.
