Wasilla Teen Charged With Murdering FatherWASILLA - A 16-year-old Wasilla boy is behind bars, charged with murdering his 57-year-old father Tuesday. According to troopers, William Robinson Jr. fired six rounds at his father after his parents began to argue. Friday, the teen was charged with first and second-degree murder. Troopers said on February 26 William Robinson Sr. woke up in the middle of the night, mad at his wife and accused her of stealing his prescription drugs from his shirt pocket, according to Nicole Robinson. The couple began to argue. William Robinson Sr. threatened to disable his wife’s car and then they threatened to shoot each other, Nicole Robinson said. That’s when their 16-year-old son woke up. He told troopers that he could hear his parents yelling in the living room of them Yeomen Drive mobile home. He said his father was being “verbally hostile.” The teen told troopers that when his father walked outside to disable the car, he grabbed a pistol. After William Robinson Sr. walked back into the house he began to yell at his son -- that is when the boy unloaded all six rounds at his dad, charging documents say. William Robinson Jr. told officials he was afraid of what his father would do to himself or his mother. He later stated that his dad never physically abused him and the boy never witnessed his father attack his mother. When emergency responders arrived at the house around 3:30 a.m., they pronounced William Robinson Sr. dead. William Robinson Jr. was arrested almost six hours later. The 16-year-old will be tried as an adult because of Alaska law, which states that anyone over the age of 16 will be automatically tried as an adult if they are charged with murder, manslaughter, first-degree robbery, first-degree sexual abuse of a minor or first-degree assault. |

Another young inmate about to learn about life behind bars at Alaska's kindly Dept of Corrections. I hope he like to read, watch TV and play cards since that is all he will be good for. Yes, by the time he gets out, he will be the same age as the father he murdered.

Sad, but that doesn't make it forgivable. 40 years will make him about the same age as his dad.
